What are your rates?

How would you describe your photography style?

I’m a huge advocate for candid moments throughout your wedding day! The natural, real, and raw emotions that come along with a wedding day is why I love what I do. I love the documentary style for most of the day and letting things happen organically, but there is always a time for fun, creative photos where my unique style blossoms. Obviously during the individual and family formals there may need to be some direction involved, but for the most part I like to capture your day as it unfolds. Don’t get me wrong, my creative spirit and fun filled energy during these moments always make their way into the photos and I believe this is why so many couples book Jonathan Hare Photography. It is not just the beautiful images and timeless memories that you will cherish from the day, but I strive to bring an unforgettable energy to each and every wedding.

Do you have any client reviews?

YES! You can check them out online (Google, WeddingWire, or TheKnot) I have over 200 5 star reviews for you to check out. I always say a business is not what I say, but what my clients say about me that truly matters.

Do you take family formal group portraits?

Absolutely. I love capturing this legacy and these are always nice gifts for family members.

I am having a destination wedding. Where will you travel?

I LOVE destination weddings and will travel anywhere. I am fortunate to photograph weddings all around the world. Travel and accommodation fees are included in destination packages, so you won’t have to worry about a thing! Don’t let distance hold you back at all.  I’ve photographed in Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Bahamas, Dominican, Ireland, South Africa, Antigua, and all around the United States.

How do I book and pay?

To get in touch, simply shoot me an email and provide me a few details about your wedding day. I will get back to you ASAP. Jonathan Hare Photography works out of St. Petersburg, Florida, but if you’re not in town to meet up, no worries! I am happy to have a consultation with you via phone call, Skype, or Facetime. Once you are ready to book, all I require is a $1000 retainer to reserve your wedding date and a simple signed contract. You can make this payment and the final balance via credit card or check if you prefer.

Do you provide retouching, color adjustment or corrective services?

Yes, your photos will receive color correction/touchups within Lightroom/Photoshop so they are delivered with perfection.

Do you provide a print and distribution release?

Many photographers watermark their photos or force you to print albums through them – I’ve never been a big fan of that route. I do offer albums and prints through my professional printing company, but the way I see it, you’ve invested a lot for your photos, so you should have the freedom to do what you want with them for personal use. All the photographs are yours to print and use how you like.

How are my photos delivered? Will I receive all the digital negatives? Are they watermarked?

We think when you’ve invested a substantial amount in your photographer, you should get ALL of the images. All packages include digital delivery of ALL your wedding photos delivered in High Res. The number of photos you’ll receive really depends on how long I am there and how much time you allocate for photos, but typically around 100 photos per hour of time (roughly 800 per wedding day). All photos will be available via an online gallery which is password protected so you can order prints and/or share with friends and family seamlessly.

Can my uncle take photos during my wedding?

He definitely can as long as he stays out of the main photos. I do offer discounts for unplugged weddings.

Can I give you a specific list of photos we would like?

You can, but don’t feel its a must. My goal is to work with you to create gorgeous wedding artwork that you’ll have to cherish for years to come. –but because your wedding is unique to you,  it deserves unique photography too! Don’t ever feel obligated to compile a list.  A checklist is definitely not needed at all. As a professional, I feel it is my job to worry about the photos and you to just enjoy your day as it unfolds.  Every wedding is different and that is part of the magic of my work, but you can always send some must haves and we will make them even better.

Do you shoot in color and black & white?

Yes, and YES! The beauty of shooting in Digital format is that I am able to produce ALL your photos in either color or black and white!

What equipment do you use?

I shoot exclusively digital, most often using Nikon as my main camera bodies. Digital means I can shoot WAY more photos during the day, fix any skin blemishes/coloring issues in photoshop, and deliver them to you far faster.

How are my photos delivered?

You want your photography to last a lifetime– and you it in the best possible quality!  Online galleries allow you to share your photography with your family and friends around the world at the click of a button, and make as many copies as you desire.

One huge benefit of Online Galleries is it also allows us to get you your photos faster. Not having to wait for USB’s  to be printed and delivered before we can ship them out to you means we can cut our final delivery time by 4-6 WEEKS! Literally as soon as your photos are finished you can have access to your gallery.

How long does it take to receive my photographs?

We think year long turnaround times are crazy, and push to have your photographs finished within 4-6 weeks. That said backlogs in busy summer months can mean a LOT of editing, and we never want to compromise on quality in a rush to finish faster, so your contract will state it may take 8-10 weeks in case circumstances arise that prevent us from maintaining our 4-6 week estimate.

Do you require meals at the reception?

I kindly ask that you provide us a meal at the reception, so that we are able to eat & recharge without needing to leave and miss any of the action!

Do you have any limits on coverage time on the wedding day?

I never limit the amount of photos taken on a wedding day. As a starting point I suggest 8 hours to capture a full wedding day. Should your wedding go longer than your chosen package includes, you are free to add as much coverage time as you’d like on the day. I’m yours for however long you need me.

Do you offer wedding videography?

My company does not do video, but I know many amazing videographers in the Tampa area that I would be happy to recommend. Usually in booking with them, and through my recommendation, they will provide a great deal.

How much experience do you have?

I’ve been in the wedding photography business for over 12 years now and have shot an average of around 30-40 weddings per year. Crazy to think of how many amazing couples I’ve met along the way… most lifelong friends of mine now. Fortunate to be in the presence of so much JOY on a weekly basis.

How many weddings do you photograph?

I LOVE what I do, and put my heart and soul into every wedding I photograph. Because I want to provide the best possible service to my couples, I limit my yearly weddings to 25-30 bookings.

Do you have insurance?

Sure do. Let me know if your venue needs any of this info and I will forward everything over to them.
