David and Kaitlan’s rustic barn wedding was one of the most heartwarming weddings I’ve ever photographed. Every moment was filled with real emotion, laughter, friendship, and beauty. As a Florida wedding photographer, I was privileged to capture every moment of this special day at the picturesque Florida Rustic Barn in Plant City. From the heartfelt vows to the joyous laughter shared by the couple and their guests, it was an unforgettable experience that I am forever grateful to have documented.
Florida Rustic Barn located in Plant City has a southern charm like no other venue in Florida. The Prairie Glenn Barn was actually built by hand with reclaimed antique wood giving it a unique look and setting it apart from any other barn I’ve photographed. The warm appeal is enhanced with amazing soft lighting inside the barn; great for stunning wedding receptions. Additionally, the exterior of the barn brings even more magic to this wedding venue. The surrounding Florida oaks, hay stacks, and waterfront make it a wedding dreamland outside of just the barn itself. Equally as important to the venue’s beauty is the owners and staff on site. They are always so kind and make everyone feel so welcomed and comfortable. I truly love this spot.
Getting ready on site was easy and both the groomsmen and bridesmaids had their own little nooks on property to get prepped for the day. This made it so easy to capture the beginning moments when everything is so close and directly on site at the barn. Kaitlan and David chose to make it official within the towering oaks of the Chapel in the Gables. The benches line the dense woods in a perfect setting for an intimate ceremony. Even the slight drizzle of rain couldn’t get through the beautiful shield of the trees that day. I loved touring the grounds of the Barn with my couple after they said their “I do’s”. There really isn’t a bad spot for a photo and their love shined bright on an overcast day.
The clouds parted later in the evening and we were blessed with a beautiful evening sunset. With a few high end cigars for the guys and some Dom Perignon Champagne for the ladies, we celebrated love well into the night. We concluded by lighting up the sky full of sparklers for a grand exit.
