Andrew and Christina are such a fun couple to be around. Andrew is a local artist who preforms tons of live acoustic guitar sets all around the Tampa area. I was blessed to meet Andrew a while back as he preformed a live show for his brother’s wedding in Ireland. You could tell he had a natural ability for music and just a true love of life and good times. I really enjoyed his company and was honored when Andrew and Christina asked me to be a part of their big day at Hotel Haya.
Ybor is such a historic location for a wedding event. It brings everything great about Tampa all into one place, where authentic cuban food and cigars meet a culture of beautiful art and people. I just love it over there. Hotel Haya produced the perfect setting for the wedding weekend. Everyone had the best time celebrating this awesome couple. Whether it was enjoying an early brunch mimosa at the hotel lobby bar, or partaking in some hand rolled Cuban cigars by the poolside, everyone seemed to really enjoy their wedding adventure in the heart of Ybor city.
Hotel Haya is packed with history and a ton of lively colorful art pieces. The unique boutique hotel was so rich in character and such a fun spot for photography. There were vibrant colors everywhere and the library room with the peacock served us well for something different on the wedding day. We were even allowed to explore the back rooms of one of the oldest restaurants in Ybor. It was said that Teddy Roosevelt himself was known to indulge with his rough rider crew in this very spot.
I can’t say enough amazing things about this great couple and their choice of venue. It fit them so well. It’s always a pleasure to work with great people whom I now consider family. Thanks for having me as part of the best day of your lives.
