Downtown St Petersburg will forever hold a special place in my heart.  This city means so much to me as this is where my journey of wedding photography started so many years ago.  Anytime I get the chance to capture a wedding in St Pete Florida, I always feel so blessed.  Not only does the downtown area have the beautiful parks, massive banyans, and bay area waterfront, it’s expanding daily with amazing artistic murals and a culinary dreamworld of restaurants.  A wedding ceremony setting in St Petersburg is always unforgettable.

Karla and Brandon are both from Colorado but chose to have their wedding at the Museum of Fine arts in St Pete.  It was an honor to capture both their engagement photos and wedding day.  They actually flew me out to Denver, CO to meet up with them for an epic engagement session where we took at hike into the wilderness.  It was so fun getting to know them as well as do one of my favorite outdoor activities in the mountains of Colorado. Their plan is to fly me out to Colorado for each anniversary to capture another new hike and I’m so game.

The wedding day was pure magic. Brandon and Karla both got ready at the Vinoy, one of St Petersburg’s historic locations downtown and a very popular wedding destination in its own right.

It was the perfect spot to get ready for the wedding day as it is right next to the MFA. The guys actually walked right over to the venue from the resort, but the ladies were picked up in a fancy Rolls Royce.  Hard to pass that up.

The wedding day was nothing short of spectacular.  So many true friendships were evident and just a blast to be around such genuine people. The wedding was filled with tons of love, art, tequila, and great smiles throughout.  I love shooting weddings in the downtown st pete area.  Its not only a stunning location for your big day, but its my home.

Unforgettable! Jonathan was beyond amazing, easy to work with, and stress free.
